Using Your Photos.... Off the Wall.

 If you've ever wondered how to bring more YOU into your wedding, never fear, ideas are here!! This post is to show you some ways one of my wedding couples incorporated their engagement session photos into their wedding to bring more of their personality to the event.






I designed save the date cards and Kerianne had them printed out as 3.5x5 inch prints. She also ordered 4x6 inch prints of one of her favorite engagement session images, purchased  invitations from Pat Catan's, and created DIY wedding invitations by printing out the wedding day information on a see-through overlay.

 

 Instead of purchasing a plain guest book with blank pages, I designed a personalized guest book for the happy couple using their engagement session photos. What a wonderful way to look at some of your favorite images while reading some beautiful words from your loved ones! To see all of the pages of the guest book... go here.








 Kerianne also used photos from their E session in some of the centerpieces. Other brides have opted to use their photos as table numbers. If you know you want to do this kind of thing before your engagement session, we can create the kind of photos that will display your personality or will portray the mood of your special day!

And to top it all off... starting in 2013, ALL of my wedding couples will receive a high-resolution disc with all of your edited images and it will be delivered to you on a professionally printed DVD, in a one-of-a-kind DVD case.

Evelyn & Lino {Virginia Beach Wedding Photography}

 I was hired as a contract photographer for Evelyn and Lino's wedding so, I didn't get to meet them until the day of their wedding. The wedding reception took place at Shifting Sands Beach Club on Dam Neck in Virginia Beach. I was super excited to see how gorgeous Evelyn was and she was so calm, laid back and really sweet. I knew this was going to be a great day and I was right. This bride and groom rocked it in front of the camera and their wedding party deserves much thanks for being equally as fun and great!!

Kate & Dennis {Northern Virginia Wedding Photography}

This was by far one of my favorite weddings of 2011. It was held at the Black Horse Inn in Warrenton, VA which is a 3 hour drive from where I live but once I fought the traffic and got there, I realized how beautiful the location was and I was so excited to start snapping away on my camera! Kate and Dennis are such a sweet couple (and a very good looking couple if I may say so). Everyone looked so perfect, including the guys in their gray suits, and you would never be able to tell that we were all freezing our dupas off!! Best wishes on a long and happy life together Kate and Dennis!!

Favorties of 2011

I tried very hard to just pick 11 of my favorite pictures for 2011 but, it was impossible! It was such a great year and I got to meet so many great couples and kids and just fell in love with so many shots of them all! So, I tried to narrow it down as best as I could but, these are some of my very best of 2011! Thank you to everyone who was a part of my year! I'm so blessed to be able to do what I love and love what I do!!
