I held a contest a few months ago and gave away 2 free sessions. One of the women who won the session wanted to wait a few months until her hubby came back from a 6 month deployment. I was lucky enough to capture their reunion when the ship came in and a few days later we met up again to take some more formal shots of the happy couple! Welcome Home USS George H.W. Bush {Military Homecoming Photography}

Being a military wife and living where I live, I see a lot of photographers in the area capturing the special moments of a ship's homecoming. It just so happened that I had a woman enter one of my contests for a free session a few months ago but, she wanted to wait until her hubby came home from deployment... So, I offered to capture their reunion as well! It was FREEZING on this particular day but, seeing all of these special moments unfold really warmed my heart! Welcome Home Sailors!!
